Employees and team members who are invited to the App by their employer. Accounts are created by invitation only; there is no public sign-up.

Information We Collect
We collect only what's needed to run staff operations:
- Profile & identity: your name, work email, phone number, department/role, an avatar color, and your birthday (month and day only — no year).
- Schedule & availability: shifts assigned to you and the availability you enter.
- Time & attendance: clock in/out times and calculated hours (exact timestamps, no rounding).
- Tasks: task checklists and any photos you take to confirm completed tasks.
- Messaging: messages, reactions, replies, and polls you send in the App, including photos and videos you attach.
- Documents: documents assigned to you and your e-signature (your typed name and the time you signed). Signatures are permanent and cannot be edited or deleted.
- Notifications: a device token used to deliver push notifications, and your
notification preferences.
- Basic technical data: app version and device type needed for the App to function.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank details, or payment information in the
App. Those are handled outside the App by our payroll system.

What We Do NOT Do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not use your information for advertising.
- Direct (one-to-one) messages are private and are not monitored or read by owners or managers.

How We Use Your Information
To operate the App's features: build and publish schedules, track time worked, assign and verify tasks, enable team messaging, distribute documents and collect signatures, and send you notifications. Your employer uses time and schedule data to run the business (for example, entering hours into payroll).

Who We Share It With
We share information only with service providers who help us run the App, under agreements that limit their use of it:
- Supabase — secure database, file storage, and authentication (data hosting).
- Expo and Apple Push Notification service — to deliver push notifications.
Access within the App is restricted by role: staff, managers (limited to their own department), and the business owner. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Data Security
Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls that restrict each person to only the data their role allows. Uploaded photos, videos, and documents are kept in private storage accessible only through short-lived, signed links.

Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as you have an active account and as needed to run the business and meet legal obligations. When your account is removed, your personal profile information is deleted or de-identified, except records we are required to keep (such as signed documents or time records retained for legal/payroll compliance).

Your Rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or delete your account, by contacting your manager or emailing us at the address below. You can also delete your account from within the App. Some records tied to legal or employment obligations may be retained as described above.

Children's Privacy
Valora Staff is for employed team members and is not directed to children under 16.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
